As we celebrated the 75th Amrit Mahotsav of India today, we did so at Parmarth Niketan, at Parmarth Vidya Mandir and along the holy banks of Mother Ganga – all while HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji continue sharing their wisdom and love abroad – beginning in the Shankar Bhagawan Courtyard at Parmarth Niketan, as Sant Swami Kesavanandji, Sadhvi Abha Saraswati ji, Shri RamAnant Tiwari ji and Principal of Divi Sampad Mandal Mahavidyalaya, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar ji hoisted the flag and Rishikumars of Parmarth Gurukul performed colorful and patriotic programs.

Then, at Parmarth Vidya Mandir, former US Ambassador to India Richard Verma ji, his wife Pinky and his daughter, Zoe, joined the faculty and students of Prakash Bharthi in celebrating the auspicious event by hoisting the flag and enjoying a beautiful morning of entertainment honouring Bharat. Said Shri Vermaji, “I am feeling extremely happy to be with the children at Parmarth Vidya Mandir today. It is a matter of pride for me that I have been getting the blessings of Pujya Swamiji for over 40 years. Under His leadership and guidance, so many service works are being done at the global level.” He went on to thank the faculty for their incredible service, sharing that both of his parents were teachers and he has seen first-hand how hard the work of educaton is. He also wished the children of the school all the best for their bright future.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati ji, while conveying warm greetings to Indians across Bharat from His travels abroad, said that “today is a very proud day and we are fortunate that we are celebrating 75 Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. On this day, Indians living all over the world are dedicating their feelings to their nation by celebrating Independence Day in their own way. It is the glory of the successful, energetic Prime Minister of India that he kept the dignity and pride of India in front of the whole world.

“The ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is a celebration of the progress made by India in the last 75 years. This celebration encourages us to rediscover our hidden strength and inspires us to work sincerely for the prosperity of the nation. The Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is the beginning of our Commemoration Initiative. Today gives us an auspicious occasion to paint in the colors of patriotism.

ऋषिकेश, 15 अगस्त। भारत में पूर्व अमेरिकी राजदूत रिचर्ड वर्मा, उनकी धर्मपत्नी पिंकी वर्मा और बेटी जोय ने परमार्थ विद्या मन्दिर में झंडा रोहन कर विद्यालय के छात्र-छात्राओं और शिक्षकों को सम्बोधित किया।

परमार्थ निकेतन प्रांगण में संत स्वामी केशवानन्द जी, साध्वी आभा सरस्वती जी, श्री रामअनन्त तिवारी जी और दैवी सम्पद् मंडल महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डा संजीव कुमार जी ने झंडा रोहन किया, इस अवसर पर परमार्थ गुरूकुल के ऋषिकुमारों और विद्यालय के बच्चों ने रंगारंग एवं देशभक्ति कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किये, जिसे देखकर सभी मंत्रमुग्ध हो गये।

स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती जी ने पश्चिम की धरती से देशवासियों को स्वाधीनता दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनायें देते हुये कहा कि आज का दिन अत्यंत गौरवशाली है और हम सौभाग्यशाली है कि हम आजादी का 75 अमृत महोत्सव मना रहे हैं। आज के दिन पूरे विश्व में रह रहें भारतीय अपने-अपने तरीके से स्वाधीनता दिवस मनाकर अपनी भावनायें अपने राष्ट्र को समर्पित कर रहे हैं।

भारत के यशस्वी, ऊर्जावान प्रधानमंत्री जी का ही प्रताप है कि उन्होंने भारत की गरिमा और गौरव को पूरे विश्व के सामने रखा। पूरा विश्व भारत की गरिमा और गौरव को जनाने का प्रयास कर रहा है और अपनी भावनाओं को विभिन्न रूपों में व्यक्त भी कर रहा है।

‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ पिछले 75 वर्षों में भारत द्वारा की प्रगति का जश्न है। यह उत्सव हमें अपनी छिपी ताकत को फिर से खोजने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करता है और हमें राष्ट्र की समृद्धि हेतु ईमानदारी के साथ कार्य करने हेतु प्रेरित करता है। आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव हमारे स्मरणोत्सव की पहल की शुरुआत है। आज का दिन देशभक्ति के रंग में रंगने का शुभअवसर हमें प्रदान करता है।
