Green Tribute to Divine Soul Smt Kamla Advaniji

Mananiya Shri LK Advani​ji, Senior BJP Leader, and his family visited their Himalayan home to pay tribute to the Rudraksha Smriti Van in memory of Smt Kamla Advaniji. On this date two years ago they had come to take part in a special pooja and planted two sacred Rudraksha saplings in her honour, they came last year and again this year to see their sapling. Today it has grown significantly since then is coming up to be a beautiful tree.

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji​, President of Parmarth Niketan, said, “If we turn our traditions and festivals into green ones then not only will we preserve the memory of our loved ones but connect the future generation to them forever. This is the kind example that is needed today for us to embrace, accept and promote these sustainable actions to set the foundation of our brighter, cleaner, greener tomorrow. ”

Sharing His concern about global warming and climate change, He stated, “There is a plan A and a plan B but there is only one planet, we must protect, preserve and serve this planet. Today on BJP Sthapana Divas, let us pledge and commit to lay the foundation of a cleaner and greener Bharat, as was the dream of Pt Deen Dayal Updhyay and BJP’s Founding Fathers. A party for all, leading the way to an India that is truly a green leader. “

During their visit During the visit, important discussions took place with HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, about the many solutions to the pollution and the multi-faceted threats facing our National River Ganga and the environment.

During their stay, the Advani family prayed and offered homage to the beautiful green memorial Rudraksha garden planted in memory of Late Smt Kamla Advaniji, at the feet of the iconic Lord Shiva murti in Parmarth Niketan’s Yoga Garden with Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji.

The offered their bhavanjali and pushpanjali to the sacred tree and to the sacred feet of Lord Shiva in her memory.

They also reminisced how much Smt Kamla Advaniji loved the River Ganga and Parmarth Niketan’s divine Ganga Aarti, and also discussed her deep connection to Parmarth Niketan Ashram, which she visited frequently with her family.

As Pujya Swamiji had not been able to be there for Mananiya Advaniji’s birthday earlier in the year 90 earthen lamps were lit at the feet of the Lord Shiva idol in the Rudraksha garden and 90 trees were given to the Parmarth Rishikumars to be planted in the upcoming monsoon season in celebration of his 90th birthday.
His family took a holy dip in the River Ganga. They also held a special bhandara for the saints and young Parmarth Gurukul students and sevaks.

Sadhvi Bhagawatiji who was abroad at the time shared in a written statement, “It is so beautiful to have such a green tribute to such an ever green and divine soul. It is also such a beautiful green example of the change that each one can choose to make to not only remember our loved ones but through our memory and through such a green tribute we honour their immortal spirits and help ensure that our love and connection to them can be the foundation to creating our collective, more sustainable future.”

Mananiya LK Advaniji and his daughter Pratibha Advaniji expressed their pleasure as being lauded as exceptional examples for positive change towards a green, clean and sustainable world.
