Bharat Yatra Flagged Off on Fourth Day of Sri Ram Katha

A special Bharat Yatra was inaugurated yesterday on fourth day of Sri Ram Katha from Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) with the blessings of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji​, Pujya Sant Murlidharji Maharaj​ and in the divine presence of Shri Arvind Pandey, Hon’ble Education Minister of Uttarakhand. The yatra will be led by Shri Saket Mani Trivedi and will travel across the nation with the purpose of uniting and motivating the nation towards addressing social evils as well as will motivate people for improved #sanitation, planting and preserving nature, environment and forest conservation.

Hon’ble Minister of Education, Uttarakhand, Shri Arvind Pandey said that the journey was going to the marginalized territories of India with a message that when we work together with honesty and integrity then only will our nation truly progress.

He called upon children, adolescents and youths and students to join themselves in this journey and join others and make their India clean India healthy India by planting and sanitation in the city.

Pujya Swamiji said, “In order for India to progress we must ensure the girl child is empowered, educated and inspired. We must ensure that all girls are given equal opportunity and resources to succeed, if done so they could preform and do much better then boys.” He mentioned that in the recent #examresults the two individuals that topped were young girls and a number of the high scoring profiles were of girls. He said that this is an example that when girls are given siksha (education) and sanskaras (values) they not only take care of their families, but their communities and their country.

Pujya Shri Murlidharji shared that Indian culture is one of the only living cultures in which nature is actually revered and worshiped by the largest number of people.

Shri Indra Mohan Agarwal and Lokesh Sharma of India Lok Shiksha Parish in Shri Ram Katha of Environment Protection said that about 75,000 Ekal Vidyalaya schools across India, will bring their students, educators and volunteers together to support this yatra (journey).

Shri Pradeep Kumar Mishra, State Minister, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Shri Satish Swamy Delhi, Retired Major General Mr. Dilawar Singh ji, Mr. Vikas Ji, Namami Gange Haridwar-Rishikesh Area, Mr. Gautam Sharma Chartered Accountant, Rtd Lt Gen Mr. Nitin Kohli, Former Signal Chief Indian Army, Mr. Mukesh G. Gupta, Bhopal, Mr. Rajiv Jain Ji, from Gurgaon Haryana, Mr. Ramsingh Aggarwal from Delhi, Mr. Aditya Jee Co-Convenor were also present to flag off the yatra.
