Tree Plantation at GIC School in Laxman Jhula

Today our GIWA volunteers visited the GIC school in Laxman Jhula, a Swarovski Water School with over 300 students from classes 6 to 12. During the visit we planted over 60 trees together, including Mulberry, Camel’s Foot and various other fruit trees. The students were enthusiastic about the planting, and they each chose a tree sapling, working together to plant them around the expansive school grounds and water them with care. Our visit left the school clean, green and pristine!
