GIWA’s Co-Founder, Param Pujya Swamiji, joined District Magistrate Mr. Ashish Chauhan for the inauguration of the Kanwad Mela. As part of the event, they traveled to a hilly region in Pauri Garhwal, Rishikesh, where Parmarth established a Rudraksh Van—a sacred grove initiative dedicated to environmental preservation.

In collaboration with Parmarth, GIWA volunteers participated in a large-scale tree plantation drive at this location. The initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to climate action, aimed at combating climate change, conserving biodiversity, and protecting Mother Earth for future generations.

We believe that every tree planted is a step toward restoring harmony with nature and fostering a sustainable planet.
