Renowned actor Anil S Kapoorji and his brother, celebrated filmmaker Boney Kapoorji – along with their revered mother, Smt. Nirmal Kapoor – spent a peaceful night at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, soaking in divine serenity and spiritual bliss.
In the sacred presence of HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiiji, they participated in a World Peace Yagna, offered heartfelt prayers at the banks of Maa Ganga, and took a pledge to protect Mother Nature, Rivers, and Humanity.
In memory of their beloved parents, they planted a Rudraksha sapling in the Parmarth premises—a green blessing from the Himalayas, presented by Pujya Swami Ji as a symbol of environmental harmony.
With love and humility, they served a heartfelt meal to the Rishikumars (young spiritual students) of Parmarth.
Overwhelmed, Anil Kapoor Ji shared, “In these children, I see the seeds of our cultural and spiritual future. This is one of the most sacred experiences of my life.”
Pujya Swami Ji shared, “Rivers, trees, and culture are not just elements of nature; they are the foundations of life and spiritual consciousness. When we protect them, we protect our future. True environmental protection lies in nurturing all three together.”
Witnessing the sacred Ganga, the divine chants, and the serene natural beauty of Rishikesh, the Kapoor brothers felt deeply moved and energized. They described Parmarth Niketan as “not just an ashram, but a spiritual haven where the soul finds peace amidst the chaos of life.”
Let us all be inspired by their spiritual experience and environmental message — Plant trees, protect rivers, preserve culture. This is the path to a balanced and sustainable future.
