Reiki I & II Training at Parmarth

Over the weekend of February 25th and 26th, Parmarth Niketan, hosted a successful and transformative Reiki I & II training class. Reiki, a Japanese healing technique that channels universal energy to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, is a transformative practice that has the power to heal and restore the body’s balance.

The training was led by our beautiful Krishnapriya, a Reiki Master with 20 years of experience and a deep understanding of the principles, which have their basis in Taoist and Sanatam Dharm teachings, and techniques of the practice. The participants were taught the basics of Reiki in Level 1, including hand positions, energy channeling, and self-healing. They also learned about the history and philosophy of Reiki and how it can be used to promote holistic wellness. There was also throughout special emphasis on the Hindu system of the Chakra system and their correspondence to balance within Pranamayakosa (the energy body).

On the second day, the training moved on to Level 2, where the participants were taught advanced techniques such as distant healing and the use of symbols. Krishnapriya also shared her wisdom on how to use Reiki to promote healing in others, and how to incorporate the practice into daily life.

The beautiful setting of Parmarth Niketan on the banks of sacred Mother Ganga, added an element of serenity, peace and energy to the already transformative experience. The participants were fully engaged and eager to learn, while the teacher provided personalized attention and guidance to each individual.

At the end of the training, the participants were awarded certificates and left with a renewed sense of energy, clarity, and purpose. The power of Reiki, coupled with the beautiful surroundings of Parmarth Niketan, made for a truly transformative experience that will stay with the participants for a unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime and undoubtedly continue to inspire and guide the participants on their healing journey.

If you were not available to take the class, another course will be taught later this year.
