Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Biopic Screening on the banks of Mother Ganga, in the Yoga Capital of the World, at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh

Celebrating the Victorious Story of a Monk, Desh Bhakt and the re-elected Hon’ble Prime Minister of India

RISHIKESH: Right from inception, director Omung Kumar’s PM Narendra Modi, a biopic on the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, has faced numerous hurdles, the makers of the biopic released the film on the 24th May and insist that it’s not only the country’s first film on a serving Prime Minister but also the story that resonates with 1.3 billion Indians, especially inspires the youth of this nation to be the change they want to see in the world.


The biopic, released on the 24th May, starring Vivek Anand Oberoi as the central character, encapsulates the journey of Narendra Damodardas Modi from his humble beginnings as a chaiwala (tea-seller) to serving as the Prime Minister of India. Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Suresh Oberoi, Zarina Wahab, Yatin Karyekar, Prashant Narayanan and Darshan Kumaar will be seen in pivotal roles. Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji also blesses the film with His soft and calming presence, signifying the message of interfaith harmony and oneness as a crucial take away from the film.


A very special screening of the film was done yesterday at 7:00 pm on the holy banks of Mother Ganga, in the lap of the Himalayas, in Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand with Actor Vivek Anand Oberoi, and producer of the film Sandip Ssingh, blessing the occasion was Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Pujya Rajendra Dasji Maharaj, Pujya Murlidharji Maharaj, Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji and many other faith leaders, devotees and pilgrims from across the India and around the world. Also, joining this special occasion were Lok Sabha MP from the Saran constituency in Bihar, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Maharashtra Minister of Water Resources Shri Girish Mahajan, Hon’ble Uttarakhand Speaker of Legislative Assembly Shri Prem Chand Agarwalji, AIIMS Rishikesh Director Dr Ravi Kantji and other eminent dignitaries.


This was the first time that the team of the film has decided to do something different with the film screening that no one has ever seen before. Bringing the film to the masses in the open air amphitheater like, picturesque setting of the Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh Ganga Ghat, immediately after the Ashram’s world-renowned Ganga Aarti, at the feet of the iconic Lord Shiva. As an offering to the sacred land of the Himalayas and to the National River Ganga on whose banks our Hon’ble Prime Minister spent much of his adolescent & maturing years and gained a deep wealth of spiritual grounding. The film was shared with the masses in this special screening because the story of Respected Shri Narendra Modiji is a story that holds divine possibility for even a common man to rise, inspire and motivate millions of others by their divine example.
