Message on World Day Against Child Labour

On the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati ji, the President of Parmarth Niketan, emphasised that childhood is not permanent for children. If it is stolen from them, it will never return. Illiteracy and child labour perpetuate a cycle of insecurity, where successive generations remain trapped in a state of vulnerability. This, in turn, leads to ongoing concerns related to livelihood security and social welfare.

The World Day Against Child Labour serves as a reminder to take collective action to protect the rights and well-being of children and ensure they have access to education, safety, and a nurturing childhood.

Let us join hands in creating a world where children are free to explore their potential, dream without limits, and grow in an environment that nurtures their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Together, we can break the chains of child labour and build a future where every child can flourish and thrive.
