On the sacred occasion of Navratri, Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh hosted a three-day Yoga Garba Retreat, blending devotion, culture, and spirituality.
Participants from India and abroad joined in the joy of Garba, yoga, and bhakti, experiencing the vibrance of Indian traditions.
In the divine presence of HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Dr. Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji, a special Yagna and Kanya Pujan were performed on Maha Ashtami, worshipping the nine forms of Maa Durga and praying for world peace.
Maha Ashtami is not merely a ritual – it is a call to awaken consciousness, honoring the creative and protective power of womanhood.
Pujya Swamiji shared, “Navratri is a festival of shakti, bhakti, and balance. Kanya Pujan is not only tradition but reverence for the divinity within women. Navratri reminds us that woman is not just the mother of creation, but also the embodiment of courage, wisdom, and prosperity.”
May Maa Mahagauri bless the world with peace, harmony, and compassion.
