Inspiring Mural painting at Government Primary School by Parmarth Youth Alliance

If you could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint. So, in painted words our incredible Parmarth Youth Alliance – with the inspiration and blessing of Global Interfaith WASH Alliance Co-Founder and Chair, HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – added their inspiring thoughts to a mural painting on the wall of Government Primary School (GPS) Garhi Hisarpur. The team also painted the wall with their hand impressions, replicating our PYA logo. It was such a divine gift, being able to watch our youth and youth leaders embellishing the canvas with motivational stories, beautiful designs and insightful prose.

Our team came together in an effort to focus attention on environmental pollution, the water crisis, tree plantations and the importance of preserving and conserving our Mother Earth. Joining the event was GIWA Director of Programme Implementation and Communication, Ganga Nandiniji, as well as the GIWA team, who all planted a beautiful sapling as a symbol of growth and prosperity of our Youth, our team and our initiative!

This, and so many other important and ground-breaking initiatives, are just one of the many ways that we give back to the community and to the world. Each small effort that we make – when magnified through the eyes, the dreams and the efforts of our Youth – can transform us in so many important and necessary ways!
