A divine confluence of spirituality and sadhana graced the holy Ganga banks at Parmarth Niketan today.
The Satsang Sadhana Shivir, organized by Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul University, Ahmedabad, was inaugurated in the sacred presence of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj.
Under the guidance of Pujya Madhavpriya Swami Ji Maharaj, Pujya Bal Swami Ji Maharaj, and revered saints of the Swaminarayan tradition, seekers are delving deep into the joy of sadhana and inner awakening.
On this sacred occasion, the divine journey of 75 glorious years of Pujya Madhavpriya Swami Ji Maharaj was celebrated, and devotees offered their love and devotion on his 76th birthday with great reverence.
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj in his inspiring discourse said, “In life, everything can be set — home, work, and family — but if the mind is upset, everything becomes meaningless. Sadhana is what truly sets us from within; it aligns, balances, and updates our thoughts, behavior, and consciousness. When the mind is anchored in sadhana, the ups and downs of life cannot disturb us.”
He added that sadhana should not be only for oneself but also for the welfare of society. “When we light the lamp of peace within, only then can we illuminate the world around us.”
Pujya Madhavpriya Swami Ji Maharaj shared, “Sadhana is not merely sitting in silence; it is directing one’s thoughts toward divinity.”
Pujya Bal Swami Ji Maharaj inspired the youth, saying, “True freedom is liberation from inner dependency. When we master our mind through sadhana, we experience real independence.”
At this divine shivir on the sacred banks of Mother Ganga, seekers engage daily in prayer, meditation, yoga, Ganga Aarti, bhajan-kirtan, and inspiring discourses, listening to the divine voice within.
The waves of Maa Ganga dance to the rhythm of sadhana, filling every heart with peace, devotion, and divine light.
