IMA India Performs World-Renowned Parmarth Ganga Aarti

IMA India invited Parmarth Niketan to its CEO Strategy Roundtable held at the Westin in from 15th to 17th July. Over 100 delegates, who are Chief Executives and Managing Directors of Indian and multinational companies were attending this conference and over 70 had come along with their spouses.

They had intended first to come to Parmarth Niketan for the world-renowned Ganga Aarti but given the Kanwad Mela and the monsoon they invited the Ashram instead to organize the Ganga Aarti there. In addition to the Ganga Aarti they also planned a very special LIVE stream interaction with HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji who joined online from Pittsburgh to address the delegates. Pujya Swamiji and Pujya Sadhviji shared beautiful tips and techniques to a healthy, happy, peaceful and prosperous life, cultivating material and spiritual abundance.

During this special virtual session, Pujya Swamiji shared, “Rishikesh and Uttarakhand are the confluence of the natural beauty like Switzerland but has the additional depth and richness of a truly Spiritual Land. This is not just a piece of land but it’s really a land of peace. Yoga and Ayurveda were born here, from these centers of the Himalayas,
which are giving the whole world not only the formulas of staying healthy but also the mantras of living life. Spiritual greetings to all of you on such a holy land! Welcome to your Himalayan home.”

“It is the fortune of India that India has a successful, dynamic Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Modiji is keen to grow the Indian economy to be the 3rd largest in the world and you have a critical role to play in it.”

He added, “But along with material abundance you must also tap into your spiritual abundance. It is when you take your spiritual growth and grounding in alignment with the nation’s material prosperity then we will certainly see sustainable growth for all and with all. Remember life is not to have more but to be more.”

He led a special meditation and shared spiritual mantras for a holistic health and wellness.

Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati ji shared her journey from the Hollywood to the Himalayas. She shared, “ In the west I saw that everyone had everything. Materially they were very abundant but they lacked peace and happiness. It was like having attained everything happiness and peace was always one step away. But when I came to India and to the banks of Mother Ganga I realised that even with far less material abundance everyone I met was so much richer. I found a sense of peace and happiness here in this sacred culture that I didn’t find in the west. So as you are here please soak up that wisdom from these sacred Himalayas and go back carrying that with you.” She shared some very beautiful stories to send across the message that all aspects of our lives are intricately intertwined and if we are not nourished spiritually than no amount of material wealth could ever give us true fulfilment and meaning in life.

During the Aarti ceremony everyone took a beautiful pledge to be the light of hope, healing and positive change they want to see on their communities. They were called to be of service to those on need as well as to protect and preserve Mother Earth and live in greater alignment with their planet, adapting lifestyles for the environment and taking the Mission Life pledge.

Ganga Nandini represented Parmarth’s rich Yoga tradition and explored the true meaning of Yoga and spirituality with an interactive and engaging session with the spouses of the CEOs encouraging them to lead healthier and more balanced lives.

Everyone was very deeply touched by the experience and promised to come visit the Ashram soon. IMA team was also deeply grateful for Parmarth’s contributions to make their retreat a true experience of the Himalayas.
