High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago Visits Parmarth

Dr. Roger Gopal, High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago Republic, visited Parmarth Niketan with family, where he met with Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and participated in the divine Ganga Aarti.

Pujya Swamiji discussed with the High Commissioner about the challenges and solutions arising from the global pandemic of Covid-19, noting how income has decreased due to the Covid pandemic in other countries including Trinidad & Tobago.  Many people have lost their jobs, and everyone must work together globally to overcome this.

Pujya Swamiji also discussed about the right and safe consumption of natural resources, saying there is a need for ethical industrialization on earth. Development must be made based on moral values.

Dr. Roger Gopal spoke about how in 1999, when he was 22 years old, Pujya Swamiji came to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on the invitation of the Prime Minister of Trinidad and gave a lecture to the youth, listening to which changed his life.  Today, Dr. Gopal has brought his family so that his children can get the same culture of India.
