Grand Sant Bhandara Marks the Conclusion of Shri Ramcharitmanas Recitation

Commemorating the 60th Mahasamadhi Mahotsav of Param Pujya Brahmanishtha Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shukdevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj with Bhakti, Seva & Spiritual Awakening

From Ashadha Shukla Purnima to Shravan Krishna Panchami, a soulful six-day musical Akhand Path of Shri Ramcharitmanas concluded in a divine atmosphere at Rishikesh. This sacred event was organized in loving memory of the revered Saint, Swami Shukdevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, on the occasion of his 60th Mahasamadhi Mahotsav.

Swami Ji’s timeless message still guides us, “If the boat stays in water, there is no harm. But if water enters the boat, it will sink. Similarly, it is fine for a seeker to live in the world, but the world should not live inside the seeker.”

The event was graced by the divine presence and blessings of Mahamandaleshwar Swami Asanganand Saraswati Ji and Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, along with Swami Jyotirmayanand Ji, Swami Sanatan Tirth Ji, Swami Keshavanand Ji, Swami Gangeshwaranand Ji, Swami Krishnanand Ji, and Swami Brahma Chaitanya Ji.

Sant Bhandara – A Living Tradition of Devotion & Service

Hundreds of devotees joyfully served the saints, partaking in the sacred tradition of Ann Seva – feeding saints and guests as forms of the Divine.

Shri Ramcharitmanas – The Nectar of Values

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji said, “Ramcharitmanas is not merely a scripture – it is a divine imprint on life itself. It teaches us discipline, love, service, sacrifice, and purity in living. When society loses direction, Shri Ram’s life and the light of the Manas serve as an eternal guide.”

The event also saw the gracious presence of Parmarth Niketan’s administrator Shri R.A. Tiwari Ji, Shri Heeralal Ji, Shri R.K. Dixit Ji, and the young Rishikumars of the ashram.

A heartfelt tribute to Pujya Swami Shukdevanand Ji Maharaj – a beacon of Vedic wisdom, Bhakti, and self-realization. We resolve to walk the path he illuminated and uphold the glory of Sanatan Dharma in our lives.
