After the conclusion of the summer session in Gairsain, the summer capital of Uttarakhand, ambassadors and high commissioners from across the world arrived at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh — not just a visit, but a spiritual journey of unity, love, and cultural harmony.
In the divine presence of Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji, the dignitaries performed Ganga Pujan and Aarti, offering prayers for global peace and unity. The sacred chants of the Vedas by Parmarth Gurukul’s Rishikumars filled the air with a divine sense of global brotherhood.
Pujya Swamiji shared, “Maa Ganga is not just India’s treasure, but a heritage of all humanity. When global leaders join hands in prayer on Her banks, the spirit of ‘One Earth, One Family’ is truly realized.”
The visiting ambassadors expressed how Parmarth felt like a ‘home away from home’, praising the spiritual serenity, cultural warmth, and deep sense of service and compassion they experienced.
The occasion also marked a solemn tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Ji on his Balidan Diwas (Martyrdom Day). Swamiji recalled, “If today Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, and Punjab are integral parts of India, it is because of Dr. Mookerjee’s unparalleled sacrifice for national unity.” His ideals of Antyodaya and cultural nationalism continue to inspire today’s vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, beautifully carried forward by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji emphasized, “In today’s world, what we need most is unity, compassion, and harmony. India’s spiritual heritage, especially Uttarakhand’s Rishi tradition, offers the living example of these values.” She beautifully explained the deeper meaning of India’s nature-based festivals and how such collective celebrations of nature, divinity, and humanity can sow the seeds of lasting global peace.
As a symbol of environmental commitment, Rudraksha saplings were gifted to all the international guests — an offering of nature, peace, and purpose.
Together, prayers were offered for global peace, environmental protection, and the upliftment of humanity.
On this day of remembrance and reverence for Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Ji, we are reminded that India’s soul lives not just in its borders, but in its culture. And when this sacred culture connects with the world, the world becomes one family.
