From Global Diplomacy to Inner Awakening: Grand Conclusion of the I.I.M.U.N. Conference at Parmarth Niketan

The three-day India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.) conference concluded today at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh — on the holy banks of Maa Ganga — in a divine confluence of culture, consciousness, and youth leadership.

Hundreds of young delegates from across India came together not only to understand the workings of the United Nations and global policymaking through debates and panel discussions but also to deeply immerse themselves in Indian culture, yoga, spirituality, and sustainable living through the daily rituals of Parmarth Niketan — yoga, meditation, yajna, Ganga Aarti, and seva.

HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji said, “Today’s youth are smart, tech-savvy, and innovative. But now, it’s time for them to also become sustainable and sensitive — not just career-focused, but conscious of the planet and humanity.”

Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati Ji shared, “When youth think through the lens of spirituality, policies are no longer just strategies — they become compassion. Youth rooted in culture don’t just ask questions, they seek and create solutions.”

The conference concluded with a symbolic tree plantation and Green Oath, where all participants pledged to protect the environment, conserve water, and live a plastic-free lifestyle.

This wasn’t just a conference — it was a movement. A spark of spiritual awakening, cultural pride, and conscious leadership. Inspired by the purity of Ganga, the wisdom of Indian tradition, and the path of service, these youth are now ready to carry India’s light onto the global stage.
