Dhanteras Saw a Special Inauguration of a Vijay Yatra

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pujya Swamiji and Mayors of Rishikesh and Dehradun among others in attendance

Pujya Swami Sri Sri 1008 Narmadanand ji was warmly welcomed and received by Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji to Parmarth Niketan and together they welcomed Honble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawatji, Mayor of Dehradun Shri Sunil Uniyalji and Mayor of Rishikesh Smt Anita Mamgainji and many others. They began the visit with a beautiful plantation ceremony, thereafter offering purnahuti to the sacred yagna ceremony on the banks of Maa Ganga.

During the world renowned Ganga Aarti ceremony a special Rashtriya Dharma Vijay Yatra was inaugurated. The padyatra would cover more than ten thousand km on foot, starting from Gangotri, Kedarnath and proceeding to other jyotirlingas, spreading the message of a unified nation, of India’s rich cultural spiritual heritage and also call for urgent need for environmental preservation and protection. The Aarti ceremony begin with a warm welcome by Sadhvi Bhagawatiji and with a beautiful explanation of the meaning and significance of Dhanteras. Pujya Swamiji blessed everyone with His address emphasizing a single use plastic free India, the upcoming Haridwar Kumbh Mela and His appreciation and blessings for the Vijay Yatra. Pujya Swami Narmadanandji and Shri Agrawalji briefly shared about the yatra and the mission with which they plan to celebrate the best of our nation.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister shared his wishes for the great success of the Yatra, emphasized that India is a land of faith and emphasized how crucially important it is to protect our environment, our greenery and our glaciers, abate climate change and be the change we seek in the world.
