Ganga is not just a river – She is the living soul of India!
Organized under the joint aegis of Parmarth Niketan, National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Namami Gange, and the Arth Ganga campaign, this special 5-day workshop brought together priests and young spiritual leaders from across five Ganga basin states of India.
Ganga Aarti is not just a ritual—it is a divine expression of faith, environmental responsibility, social commitment, and spiritual awakening.
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji shared, “Ganga is not just a river—She is the living spirit of India. Ganga Aarti is a sacred confluence of devotion, duty, and sustainability. It creates local livelihoods, promotes culture-based tourism, and builds environmental awareness.”
The participants received in-depth training on the Vedic process of Ganga Aarti, its spiritual significance, and its role in ecological conservation and community empowerment.
As lamps flow with the Ganga’s waves during Aarti, it becomes a sacred union of culture and nature, igniting a message of responsibility, reverence, and renewal.
The workshop concluded with a grand Ganga Aarti, where participants took a solemn pledge for water and environmental conservation.
Pujya Swamiji gifted each participant a Rudraksha sapling, inspiring them to plant one tree in the name of their mother and one for Mother Earth — celebrating a truly green and conscious faith.
Har Har Gange!
