Over 25 Countries Represented!
Ambassadors, High Commissioners & special guests joined hands in unity on the sacred banks of Maa Ganga for a global celebration of Yoga!
Same Day, Same Time — One Breath, One Earth!
From the sacred banks of Mother Ganga, in the capital city of Yoga, the 11th International Day of Yoga at Parmarth Niketan , Rishikesh brought the world together in one breath, one rhythm, and one purpose. With ambassadors, high commissioners, and special guests from over 25 countries, the celebration embodied the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- the World is One Family.
Under the divine guidance and blessings of HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati the sacred morning began with mantra chanting, the Common Yoga Protocol, and inspiring reflections on yoga as a way of life- not just a practice.
This year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” reminds us to care for ourselves and the planet.
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji shared, “When we take care of ourselves, we begin to care for the Earth. Yoga is India’s timeless gift to the world — a path of balance, peace, and unity.”
He emphasized, “Yoga is not just flexibility of the body — it’s flexibility of the mind, harmony in action, and peace in chaos.”
Special flute performance, recitation of Yoga Sutras, and Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s message added divinity to the morning.
Participants included esteemed dignitaries from Peru, Japan, Colombia, Lesotho, Namibia, Seychelles, Ecuador, Nepal, Zimbabwe, D.R. Congo, Lithuania, Uzbekistan, Mexico, Botswana, and many more!
Youth, students, yoga teachers, and sadhaks from across India gathered on the Ganga Ghat, led by Parmarth’s Yogacharya Ganga Nandini, radiating devotion, discipline, and divine energy.
Let us embrace Yoga not just as a practice, but as a sacred way of living — for our health, our Earth, and our shared future.
