MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriya Nishankji Visits Parmarth Niketan

The former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, current Member of Parliament Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ji was welcomed by Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati during his visit to Parmarth Niketan to attend the divine Shri Ram Katha. They joined together to honour Pujya Kathakar Acharya Murlidharji with a sacred Rudraksha sapling and also asked all the devotees to take a pledge to save the #environment and water plus to plant more trees to save mother earth.

After the Katha, they discussed various topics like making the region open defecation free, building eco-friendly cemetariums, mass tree plantation and organic farming along the banks of River #Ganga.

Pujya Swamiji shared how the ongoing month long “Shri Ram Katha” has become a perfect platform for a very much needed topic of expert’s discussions and brainstorming about vital issues such as the preservation of the environment, conservation of rivers, #sanitation and #cleanliness.

Former CM Shri Ramesh Pokhriyalji shared, “Mother Ganga is not only India’s but the world’s heritage. Under the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister because of whose efforts our nation is moving forward on the path of becoming “Vishwa Guru” (World Leader). We, in this state have additional blessings of the teachings of yoga, blessings of Maa Ganga and great Himalayas, hence time has come now to work together towards a clean and green Ganga and clean and green India.”
