Hinduja Brothers Service Filled Birthday at Parmarth

During the Hinduja Family’s visit to their Himalayan home for their divine birthday celebrations they hosted a special bhandara at Parmarth in which they fed all of the Rishikesh Municipality Safai Karamcharis (all of the sweepers and their families) and distributed blankets to them.

Shri Ashok Hindujaji also visited the Kendriya Vidyala in Rishikesh with Pujya Swamiji. Principal of the School, Shri Rachana Deviji, warmly welcomed Pujya Swamiji and Shri Hindujaji to their campus. They held a special ceremony in which they had their special dignitaries share their words of inspiration and offer certificates to excelling students from different fields.

Touched by the enthusiasm of the student, Shri Ashok Hindujaji mentioned that he would extend and open the Hinduja scholarship that they give to excelling students every year from disadvantaged backgrounds to these students.

He also pledged to help sponsor, in collaboration with the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance, to build much needed bio-toilet complex for the school so that they could adequately meet the schools sanitary requirements. Currently there is three toilets each for boys and girls and the school comprises of over 1,000 students.
On the last day of their stay, Shri Prakash Hinduja met with Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Ramesh Nishank Pokriyhalji at Parmarth Niketan. They collectively honoured the dedicated veterinarians and doctors from Russia who for the past few weeks were hosting a Animal Rescue Camp at Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh), providing free medical services for the stray dogs in the area.
