On the path of Nāda Yoga, the body feels the healing touch, the mind finds balance, the practitioner becomes a content and peaceful individual living with a sense of well-being. It can also work as therapy and/or medicine, helping one to lead a healthy, happy and more content life.

A group of 9 students from different countries & cultures including Germany, Mauritius, Russia, Switzerland, Zimbabwe & America, aged from 28 to 70 years old, joined the course to achieve a depth of understanding of mantras and to go deeper in their own healing process.

This 3-week course taught students how to pronounce Sanskrit correctly, the intonations, the philosophy behind Vedic Chanting and the Vedic Tradition. The students had the honour of performing live for Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji at the world renowned Ganga Aarti ceremony & for Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawatiji in Satsang during the last few days of their course as their offering back to the sacred space. They also enjoyed special interactions with Pujya Swamiji and Pujya Sadhviji during their three week stay.

Elke from Germany shared, “I am very grateful to our beloved teacher Sadhvi Abha Saraswatiji. It took a little effort to learn chanting these Vedic Mantras, but we received so much! The more I learn about Vedic Chanting, the more I am fascinated by it. It makes me feel so peaceful. My whole body takes in the vibrations & the beautiful words & sounds keep repeating themselves in my mind.”

Ash from Zimbabwe (Africa) said, “As a beginner to Nāda Yoga, I arrived at Parmarth Niketan with no expectations for the 3-week course I was about to embark on. The daily practice of prānāyāma, yoga & Vedic Chanting has transformed the way I will live my daily life when I return home. It has allowed me to slow down my racing mind, learn amazing techniques to strengthen my body & mind and express myself whilst healing my body & soul through chanting. The course has exceeded anything I could have wished for & I have learnt so much as a result.”

Mandy from Zimbabwe (Africa) expressed, “From having absolutely no singing or musical experience, I stepped into this course as a complete novice & walked away a confident chanter with a warmer heart & a glowing soul. Mataji’s strict & precise teachings were brilliant in helping us to be able to chant these mantras in their purest form reaping all the goodness that the Vedic chants can bring for our well-being. I was blown away by the power of the chants in healing and uplifting the body, mind & soul. If you enjoy singing, this is the course for you, but even if you are not a singer, this is still the course for you!”

Valeria from Russia shared, “My life has changed. It won’t be the same as before the course! I have found what I have been looking for for many years. I love music so much. It’s an important part of my life and I understand the powerful influence of music. However, I couldn’t imagine the positive and healing effect that these mantras would have. They are so powerful and I’m so grateful to meet my Guru & my wonderful teachers, Mataji and Induji.  They opened me up to the whole universe, another life, another way of chanting. Every time I chant, I feel the presence of Mataji. I feel that mantras connect people’s hearts and souls. They give peace, fullness, love, unity, health, prosperity, integrity, kindness & a deep understanding of self-realisation on this wonderful, impermanent path of life.

It’s been such a blessing to study here at Parmarth Niketan, to learn this wisdom, to feel all our emotions and to live consciously in accordance with purity & honesty within myself and with the whole world.”
