World Health Day: Know Clean Water for All, Know Health for All

On the second day of Navratri and on the special occasion of World Health Day, we welcomed a group of more than 40 doctors from the North Zone Urologist Society of India for a beautiful morning Yoga class on the banks of Maa Ganga, Ganga Snan and water blessing ceremony in which we pledged for protecting the health of our bodies and our planet, both of which would be impossible without water.

Hence, the doctors took HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji’s blessings in the form of a sacred Rudraksha sapling as a symbol of this pledge.

Pujya Swamiji shared in a written statement from the US and as a blessing to the group who had first sought His divine presence and guidance to bring the group of doctors to Parmarth, “Without water there is no urology. We must therefore practice and understand waterology to be effective in urology. With our fast dwindling water resources and increasing global warming we must take immediate action to heal the planet. No water, no health! Only by knowing water can we know health.”

Dr Anil Elhence, President, North Zone Urology Society of India (NZUSI) shared, “Urologists are the plumbers of the body and water keeps our plumbing system healthy and robust.”

Dr Manoj Biswas, Organising Secretary, Midterm NZUSI Conference 2019, shared, “Everything was so excellent here and we take these Rudraksha Saplings back with us on World Health Day as a message of how we must be guardians of the inner and outer health.”

Dr Neelam Verma, Dr HS Bhattal, Prof Dr Rajeev Sood, Shivam Priyadarshi, Dr Savita Yadav, Dr Sanjay Goyal, Dr Devendra Sharmaji, Dr Himanshu Pandeyji, Yogesh Kalra, Dr Shikhar Agarwalji, Dr Sonika Agarwalji, Sanjay Garg, Pawan Kesariwani, Santosh Bhatyal, Sanjay Kumar Agarwalji and many others joined in the delegation’s visit from their two day conference at the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust.
