Vietnamese Ambassador to India meets Pujya Swamiji

His Excellency Mr. Ton Sinh Thanh, Ambassador of SR of Vietnam to India, Nepal & Bhutan, and his wife, Mrs. Phan Thi Vinh Khanh, as well as their family and friends visited Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) to meet with Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji.

HE Mr. Ton Sinh Thanh shared that they had been living in India now for 8 months and were very interested in the Indian spiritual-cultural tradition and the practice of Yoga.

He also explained how just before coming to Rishikesh he had delegates of his Embassy participate in the grand International Yoga Day celebrations at Rajpath, Delhi and how excited they were to be part of such a historic moment. They shared that at their Embassy they practice Yoga daily.

Pujya Swamiji also gave them a sacred Rudraksha plant as a symbol of their collective pledge to work together with India and Vietnam to bring green and sustainable living to both countries and thereby setting an example to the world.

During their two day stay in Rishikesh they took Yoga classes at Parmarth and were deeply touched by the warmth and hospitality.

They were very keen to learn more about the Karma Yoga programmes inspired, lead and driven by Pujya Swamiji’s divine vision and leadership.

The delegation also joyfully took part in Ganga Aarti and promised to keep coming back home to Parmarth Niketan as well as invited Pujya Swamiji and Sadhvi Bhagawatiji to their Embassy.
