The International Board of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance met at Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh on the day following GIWA’s historic Worship to WASH and Women for WASH Summits. With Directors hailing from India, South Africa, the Netherlands, England, the United States and Bangladesh, GIWA’s Board features representatives of the Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Hindu faiths. Also attending were representatives of the Sikh and Buddhist religions. Said GIWA Co-Chair, HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, “We came together, as a sangam of faiths, to serve as a coalition of compassion, for the sake of all children, of all faiths and of all lands.”
