Successful Completion of First Post-Lockdown 200-Hour YTTC Course

We are so excited to announce the successful completion of our first post-lockdown 200 Hour YTTC course, offered with the divine blessing of HH Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, the beautiful guidance of Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji and the inspired teaching of Pujya Sadhvi Abha Saraswatiji and Dr Indu Sharmaji!

For one month, 7 brilliant souls joined us along the Holy Banks of Mother Ganga to continue the great tradition and culture of Union passed down to us by our Rishis, Saints and Sages – a tradition that offers health and divine connection and a culture that values Oneness and unity with all of God’s wondrous Creation.

These amazing and gifted men and women are now ready to share this tradition with others, to help our brothers and sisters find the path to healing and transformation offered by the science of life!

Our students quickly became a welcome and loving part of our Parmarth Parivar and it was always a joy to see them whenever they weren’t practicing and learning. Some of them were kind enough to share their thoughts about the experience:

For me, Yoga is a light that, once lit, will never dim! I’m privileged to be in Rishikesh in the lap of the Divine itself, and to do YTTC under Mataji & Indu mam. It’s a blessing!  Thank you Parmarth Niketan Ashram & Pujya Swamiji for letting me be a part of your family…” – Neha

“Yoga for me has become a reason to live. I feel fortunate to have learnt so much from Mata G n Indu ma’am.” – Avantika Sharma

“I am very active and energetic and, thankfully, thus far, in good health. So when I began yoga, I was surprised by the challenge. The inward focus, the attention to breathing and to the body, the often difficult (for me) poses, were all new to me and out of my comfort zone.  Nevertheless, by the end of my first class, I felt a new sense of balance and stability in my normally runaway mind. After my one month Teacher Training Program here at Parmarth Niketan. I am pleased to confirm that I am capable of managing new challenges. I find that when my inner and outer worlds are in sync, the intrinsic goodness of life is more available for my appreciation.  I am more than Thankful to Indu Mam and Mataji for their patience and support and wonderful lessons in yog.  It was truly an inward journey.” -Sonal Mehta

Coming up on the 28th of this month is our Spiritual Retreat, a 5-day event that includes prayers, pranayama, Mauna Dhyana Sadhana [Silent meditation practice], Surya Namaskar, basic yoga asana, question / answer sessions, mantra chanting, silent and guided Meditations, Gita recitation, Karma Yoga and Bhakti Yoga. Each day concludes with Ganga Havan and Aarti at sunset, followed by Satsang with Pujya Sadhviji and darshan with Pujya Swamiji [when they are in the Ashram]; and finally, kirtan after dinner with the Rishikumars of the Parmarth Gurukul. We’d love to have you join us, and you can do so by going to parmarth.org/yoga to register!
