While speaking to the State Minister Shri Neeraj Shahi ji, Pujya Swamiji focused his discussions on tree plantations in the premises of the schools, madrasas, gurukuls, universities and colleges in Uttar Pradesh. He said that through the medium of tree plantations, we can instill and encourage the message of social unity, coordination, goodwill and environment protection among the people society.

Pujya Swamiji shared that “everyone should together contribute towards the development and enrichment of the nation. It is everyone’s duty to pay special attention towards protection of the environment because more pollution will in turn lead to numerous types of diseases. Hygiene and clean water is essential for the GDP, as well as the health and prosperity of our country.”

Pujya Swamiji said that after harvesting the cane crop, the farmers burn residues of sugarcane for the purpose of sowing wheat, which in turn causes excessive air pollution. He said that the farmers should understand that at least 3 to 4 tons of leaves are obtained from one acre of sugarcane. They should not burn it, but instead as a solution, they should bury them in the soil, so that they could be converted into compost that is a natural fertilizer and will increase the nutrient value of the land.
