Actress Jenifer Winget Visits Parmarth & Ganga Aarti

Television actress Jenifer Winget, known for her portrayal of Kumud Desai in Saraswatichandra, Maya Mehrotra in Beyhadh and Zoya Siddiqui in Bepannah, paid a surprise visit to Parmarth Niketan and our world-famous Spiritual Happy Hour and Ganga Aarti last week, bringing the entire cast and crew of one of India’s most-popular TV shows, Beyhadh 2, along with her. The crew was in Rishikesh, filming river-rafting sequences for the show.

Though traveling abroad, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji, President and Spiritual Leader of the Ashram, sent blessings to Jennifer and her team, sharing that “Today, Cinema and Serials have achieved enormous popularity and success. Both of these outlets do great work in broadcasting the message of Indian culture, spirituality and environmental protection. By producing the great epic stories of our heritage, filmmakers are encouraging character, morality and virtues in society. Now, if they can focus even more attention on conserving, preserving and protecting the environment, we will be able to bring about a great and wonderful change to society.”

According to Winget, the serial filmed a number of scenes in and around Rishikesh, including on the Ganga Ghat. “We were fortunate,” the popular actress said. “We go an opportunity to see the beauty and treasure of nature. Uttarakhand really is Heaven on Earth.”
