Each morning from 5 to 6 am, all ashram residents join together in the temple for universal prayer and meditation. Click here for upcoming spiritual and cultural events and programs. Read the latest newsletter.
Parmarth Niketan is dedicated to cultivating and awareness of environmental sanctity as well as with the mission of restoring Mother Earth's natural balance. While every day is a celebration of God at Parmarth Niketan, there are several special events occuring on daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis. See upcoming events link.

Parmarth Niketan is dedicated to bringing health to the sick, education to the illiterate, food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless and hope to the downtrodden.
There are about 1,000 residential rooms (flats) that retain the simplicity of ashram living and yet are equipped with the necessary modern amenities.

All donations to any service of this ashram are greatly appreciated. It is only through the generosity of our guests/pilgrims/visitors that we can continue to feed the hungry, heal the sick, house the homeless and uplift the downtrodden. This ashram is open for the stay of only those pilgrims who are here to devote themselves to sadhana, meditation, seva and satsang. People who come to Rishikesh for picnics, recreation, business, etc. are not allowed to stay in this ashram.

"True bliss comes to me in the service of humanity.
If Moksha were to knock at my doors today, I would beg the
Lord to let me remain here, so I might serve a brother or sister in pain."
H.H. Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji Maharaj, President of Parmarth Niketan
