Union Minister of State Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Chemical and Fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviyaji, along with his wife Geeta Ben and children Pawan and Disha visited Parmarth Niketan with Minister of Urban Development, Govt of Uttarakhand, Shri Madan Kaushikji, to seek the blessings of and meet with Pujya Swamiji yesterday on the occasion of Mothers Day – also at the completion of their Char Dham yatra.
They discussed the work of Parmarth and its sister organisations, and their commitment to interfaith harmony, Swachh Bharat, provision of clean water, improved sanitation and hygiene facilities for all.
During their meeting, the Hon’ble Minister stressed on inculcating vedic sanskaras and values among the future generations.The Union Minister asserted that it was important that the children were given the values of simple living and high thinking. He said the Indian philosophy had always believed in Vasudev Kutumbkam – the world is one family – and it was so great through the many programmes and activities undertaken by Pujya Swamiji, that this message was being conveyed so beautifully.
Pujya Swamiji gifted the Hon’ble Union Minister along with his family a sacred Rudraksha sapling as a symbol of their green yatra.
