For Pujya Swamiji’s 61st birthday, He forbid any kind of big celebration, and said that all He wanted was to clean the banks of Ganga. As the rains are coming, Pujya Swamiji has been particularly concerned about making sure the trash all gets removed from the roads, streets and alleyways so that the rains do not wash it all into the sacred river. So, the morning was spent picking up trash all along the banks of Ganga.
In the evening, as Pujya Swamiji’s divinity and purity are a magnet for love and devotion, even without a function planned, several revered saints came to be with Pujya Swamiji on this special day and to offer their love and blessings to Him. Pujya M.M. Swami Gurusharananandji, Pujya M.M. Swami Asanganandji, Pujya Swami Govind Giriji and Pujya Swami Dharmadevji graced the ashram with their presence. Also the beautiful rishikumars had prepared fabulous felicitory speeches in full, perfect Sankrit and songs of love and devotion for Pujya Swamiji.
