Protecting Our Environment Key to Sustainable Green Simhasth

After gracing the seventh day of Pujya Morari Bapuji’s Katha, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati led the Kshipra Aarti at the #DattGhat, opposite the #RamGhat, inspiring thousands to pledge on both sides of the sacred river to work to end open defecation and keep our rivers free-flowing and unpolluted.

Later in the evening, the Ganga Action Parivar’s Vrindavan chapter, led by Swami Parmadvaitiji, also known as the Vrindavan Act Now group, performed a very inspiring skit on the need to drama on the need to protect Mother Earth and our sacred rivers from exploitation and pollution. They performers were from many different countries, including America, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Germany, India and many others.

They pledged that just like the Ganga Action Parivar and the Yamuna Action Parivar, people must come together as the Kshipra Action Parivar, to act today and urgently to protect and preserve the sacred river along whose banks and because of whose holy waters the Kumbha Mela happens.
