A three-day eye camp was held at Shukdevanand Charitable Hospital, Parmarth Niketan. Over 250 people registered for free cataract operations, done during the camp free of cost.
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, President of Parmarth Niketan, lit the inaugural lamp for the camp, giving a divine launch to the camp and volunteer dorctors.
During the inauguration, Dr. Mustfa Parikh, Dr. Pranay Kapadiya and Dr. Dinsa Dastur from Mumbai were present. Shushri Bhuvneshwari Mashvariya, Mr. K K Singhal, Shyam Krishna, Manas Pant, Ravindra Tandan, Mukund Vas and Archit Kumar helped arrange the eye camp with Parmarth.
In line with Pujya Swamiji’s vision for a clean and green environment, the doctors presented the patients each with a tree sapling, so that may commemorate and continue the gift they had received.
