Volunteers travelled to the village of Channar, which was badly affected by the landslides following the cloudbursts and heavy rains in Uttarkhand that caused so much devastation. Rrelief supplies were distributed to the families, including tents, tarps, clothing, bed materials, kitchen supplies, toiletries, tarpaulin and so much more. Food rations were also distributed.
As permanent reconstruction cannot start until after the monsoon season ends, these relief supplies will help the villagers in the coming months, as many have even lost their homes.
