Moment of Calm Dedicated to Rev Dada Vaswaniji

On Revered Dada J.P. Vaswani ji’s birth centenary (2nd August, 2018) this week, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji graced the Sadhu Vaswani Mission in Pune.

Addressing all of Dadaji’s beautiful devotees, Pujya Swamiji said, “Dada is not gone, he is forever ON. The Guru can never be gone, the Guru is always with us. This was the truth that Dadaji lived, which allowed him to serve all of creation with such unconditional love. It allowed him to see the entire universe as a reflection of his Guru. This is the same teaching you must strive to live and manifest, serving with the same unconditional love as if every moment and every action is an offering to Dada.” Also, present on the occasion in the evening was Senior BJP Leader Mananiya Shri LK Advani who fondly shared his thoughts and memories of Pujya Dadaji and shared that both Pujya Dadaji and Pujya Swamiji have inspired and influenced him deeply.

On the occasion, Pujya Swamiji launched a new book on Dada, ‘To Know Him Is To Love Him’. He recalled how he was here at a meeting with Dada ji a few weeks ago and offering him Ganga Jal, Rudraksha and an elaichi mala and added on to say that, Dada is Ganga, Dada is the Rudraksha, Dada is the fragrance of the mala! He further said, “Guru is not mere teaching. Guru is a touch. Guru is a transformation. Dada is a mixture of all; teaching, touch and transformation. Dada is everything.” As part of the tradition of the annual celebrations, as a symbol of Pujya Dadaji’s legacy of selfless service, Pujya Swamiji, as Pujya Dadaji does every year, handed out artificial limbs to recipients in need of them.

The Summit will begin the first evening with a special tribute to Rev Dada Vaswaniji’s teachings, message and legacy of service, bringing together youth leaders from across India and around the world.
