India and Indonesia Unite on the banks of Mother Ganga

A delegation from Bali, Indonesia, headed by Dharma Adhyaksa of Parisadha Hindu Dharma Indonesia, Ida Pandita Mpu Daksa Yaksa Acharya Manuabaji and Indra Udayana, Founder and Chairman Ashram Gandhi Puri and Initiator Indonesia India Sangam, met with Pujya Swamiji and joined for Parmarth’s divine Ganga Aarti ceremony.

During their meeting, they discussed the creation of a centre for Indonesian Hindu community on the banks of Mother Ganga in Rishikesh. This centre would consist of a temple and cultural exchange centre on the banks of Mother Ganga in which the Indonesian community would be inspired to keep coming to the sacred land of Uttarakhand, there by also being touched and transformed by the roots of yoga and spirituality.

They also took part in a special water blessing ceremony with Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati in which they pledged to work together to preserve and protect all water bodies and eco-friendly, green living.
