International Yoga Day
June 20 - June 21
This International Yoga Day begins with Universal prayers / Vedic Chanting at 5 am in the Satsang Hall followed by pranayama, surya namaskar and meditation in the yoga hall. After breakfast [food for the body] discover yoga as a life style beyond the mat [food for the mind]. In the afternoon, cool down with a Ganga Snaan /dip to mantra chanting from our Rishikumars of the Parmarth Gurukul. Take time to reflect before participating in a special Ganga puja, Shiva pooja, Yagna and the world famous Ganga Aarti [food for the soul] at sunset on the holy banks of Ma Ganga. After dinner take time to reflect on the day as you move one step closer in yoga for that mind, body soul connection.
