Finding Peace in the Chaos Workshop – Maximum: 25

This 2 week / 11 day program includes prayers, pranayama, Surya Namaskar, traditional hatha yoga basic asana, question / answer session, Vedic Chanting, Meditation, Karma Yoga and Bhakti Yoga, Yoga Philosophy, techniques to stay peaceful in the chaos of life and optional individual coaching sessions. We will explore the concepts of Patanjali’s ‘satya’ and ‘ahimsa’; Pujya Swami Chidanandji’s [Parmarth Niketan Ashram] daily discipline of ‘Meditation – No Reaction – Introspection’, and an adaptation of Swami Sivanandaji’s [Divine Life Society] lesson on ‘Intention to Destiny’. We will learn techniques using breath, thoughts, words and actions for a mindful attitude to co-create peace in your world. At the end of the session you should have your action plan to implement the skills and concepts learned to be peaceful while managing the chaos of life. Each day concludes with Ganga Havan and Aarti at sunset. Individuals are expected to use the time after dinner for reflection, introspection and journaling.
