Creating Balance in Daily Life through Yoga

March 13 - March 18

with Visiting Instructor Sue Melbourne, RYT500, Owner of Onda Yoga [USA]

On the holy banks of Ma Ganga at the International Yoga Festival 2015 four strangers became one and took a sankalp [solemn vow] to do something special together. The earthquake in Nepal in April 2015 was the catalyst for a 108 day sadhana for world healing and peace. This sadhana continued after the 108 days to bring the concept of Ahimsa to action. Our intention is to manifest a path to ourselves, to you and to world healing and peace. To commemorate our year of sadhana, we are offering a special 3 day program of hatha yoga, pranayama, meditation, ayurveda, chakradance and yoga philosophy for the harmony and balance of the mind, body and soul. It is only when each individual is in harmony with themselves that there can be harmony in the world. We will discuss how to integrate Ayurvedic principles into our yoga asana practice and how to live the concept of Ahimsa [non injury to self, others, the planet in thoughts words and actions] in our daily life. With our unique, creative and expressive movements, we will dance the vibrations of our chakras in a playful, spirited, free flowing and healing dance of Chakradance to access our inner glow and radiance.   Each evening will conclude with Ganga Havan, vedic chanting and Ganga Aarti at sunset. Join us and be part of Ganga 108 for World Healing and Peace! All are welcome.
