They shared with the celebrities that in India 1200 children under the age of five die every day simply of due to the lack of WASH.

They were encouraged to be an example and lead the way for thousands of their fans to work together to make India clean, green and free from open defecation and pollution.

Pujya Swamiji also welcomed Shri Radheshyam Gomlaji, Pradhan of the Gomla village in Haryana, to the banks of Mother Ganga and encouraged him to share his success story of how he made his village open-defecation free and lead them towards holistic development and progress. They jointly planned pilot interventions in a few of the nearby villages to create more Sanitation Change leaders and more inspiring examples for others to follow suit.

Pujya Swamiji also inspired the Intensive Yoga course students who finished their two week course at Parmarth to take the WASH pledge and work for Peace on and off the mat. The Yoga students joyfully took part in a sacred water blessing ceremony with Pujya Swamiji and were so inspired to hear about all the service projects being undertaken under Pujya Swamiji’s divine leadership.
