Several meetings, discussions and interactions with local stakeholders, local faith leaders, national and local media took place in between the large scale programmes and activities of the first ever two day GIWA-UNICEF “Worship for WASH Summit.” Truly every minute and every moment of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance’s Interfaith Leaders from the minute they stepped foot on the sacred soil of Ladakh to their departure was celebrated and shared the single and united message of the need to work together for a Swachh and Sundar Bharat (Clean and Beautiful India).
