150th Birth Anniversary of Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji

On the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji – Muniji​ graced the 150th Birth Anniversary of Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji. He was warmly welcomed by Pujya Gurudev Rakeshbhaiji to Dharampur, Gujarat for the grande finale of the three day celebrations.

During the occasion, the foundation stone of the Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital was blessed and inaugurated by Pujya Morari Bapuji, Pujya Gurudev Rakeshbhaiji, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Pujya Acharya Lokesh Muniji and Ven Bhikkhu Sanghasenaji and other respected dignitaries.

They also visited the hospital site were the 250 bed multi speciality healthcare centre would be established and performed a special bhoomi poojan and ground breaking ceremony.

They then offered their oblation to the largest statue of Pujya Shrimad Rajchandra ji, which had been unveiled on the first day of the celebrations, performing pooja and abhishek to him.

The saints emphasised the great teachings of Pujya Krupalu Devji, especially ahimsa and his divine example of selfless service.

Pujya Gurudev Rakeshbhaiji emphasised the great importance of the teaching of Ahimsa Paramo Dharma in Jain Dharma and shared that all true, unconditional love and compassion stems from this very fundamental teaching. He emphasised and encouraged the devotees and youth, “Be a donor of love not a beggar for love. You don’t have to be rich to give, you just have to truly love and cultivate an expanded sense of belonginess. Make your existence beneficial and in the service of others.”

Pujya Morari Bapuji gave an inspiring and engaging speech in which he shared, “My message to all the beautiful devotees is to take these divine teachings and apply it to your lives. You may not gain siddhi or become a sadhak but you will become suddha (pure). Becoming pure and closer to your true nature is the essence of life. My blessings are with you on the path of suddhi.”

Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji said on the occasion, “On the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima, it is the divine example of Guru Nanakji, Yugpurush Shrimad Rajchandraji & our great spiritual leaders -our rich spiritual heritage- that allows not only to celebrate the full moon but also inspires us to reach the fullness of our own beings. In this state of fullness selfless service, compassion and love flows forth.”
